Try Your Trade is an initiative delivered by NECA Education & Careers as part our Women and Their Trade (WaTT) program focusing on empowering women to succeed within the electrical industry.
Try Your Trade was our first on-site expo involving tool trials and a chance to talk directly with teachers, current female apprentices and mentors.
It was designed to encourage women to explore a future career in the electrical industry.
What to expect on the day
Registrants will choose a session time which suits then participate in our onsite expo which will cover:
- Socket outlet fit off
- Illumination circuit and termination
- Series and parallel circuit problem solving boards
- Conduit installation
- Digital circuit simulator
- Learn more about the WaTT program and NECA Education & Careers
